Bid on what is hiding under every cup and shout "Dudo!" when someone is lying.
Dudo is the classic liar's dice game, the one with the cups on the bar counter. It seats 2 to 8 and is at its best with 3 to 6: enough dice on the table to make lying easy and doubting risky.
With five dice each and four at the table, a game takes about ten minutes. With six or more, the quick three-dice game keeps it at a similar length.
The table shows your dice large, marks the ones that count for the face you are about to bid (ones included) and tells you how many to expect overall. When someone doubts, it lifts every cup and highlights the dice that count.
Two things. Dice per player: five is the classic game, about ten minutes with four; three is the quick one, recommended from six players up. And palifico: when it is on, a player who drops to one die plays a round with no wilds.
At a public table there is no host to decide: everyone votes and the tally shows on each button.
On your turn, pick the face by tapping a die and adjust the quantity with the − and + buttons: the table always starts at the lowest valid bid, so you cannot make an illegal raise.
Underneath you will see how many of that face you hold and how many to expect across the table. If the previous bid looks too high, press "Dudo!".
The turn clock is twenty-five seconds. If it runs out, the table makes the minimum raise for you with the face you hold most of.
