Call anyone out to a card duel while the rest of the room bets on who wins.
Party Duels is another game invented for the house, for parties of 3 to 8. Each round two players fight in a mini-game and the rest bet, so nobody sits watching: you either duel or put your call on the line.
There are fifty mini-games: rock, paper, scissors, penalties, gunslingers, tic-tac-toe, reflexes, quick maths, memory, hot potato, tug of war, Simon says, shell game... Each duel takes under a minute and a game six to twelve.
The table shows the mini-game live to the whole room, who bet on whom and what everyone scored. The top two play a final that counts double, so it is rarely decided before the last duel.
The mode. "One at a time": one duel at a time while the rest watch and bet; the number of rounds depends on how many of you there are (two challenges each up to four players, one from five, plus the final). "Everyone plays": seven rounds where everyone fights at once in pairs.
When it is your turn to challenge, the table shows three mini-games with their rules and the other players: tap one of each and press "I challenge you!".
If you are not dueling, tap one of the two duelists to back them; you can change until it starts. Then you watch the duel live.
If you are dueling, the mini-game appears on your screen with a line telling you what to do. If your time runs out on a move, the table plays for you at random.
