Pick a tapa, pass the hand and steal the best one from your neighbour. Without getting the hot pepper.
Tapeo is another game invented for the house: 2 to 6 players, and everyone picks at once, so nobody waits for anybody. With two it is a duel where you always know what you are passing the other player; from 4 upwards each hand travels round the table and the majorities get contested.
A game is three rounds and lasts six to nine minutes. The ham and churros majorities are settled in the last picks, so it is rarely decided before the end.
The table shows everyone's bar with what it would score if the round ended now, warns who would get the hot pepper and announces every Freeloader steal.
Nothing: Tapeo has no room options. It is always three rounds with the same deck, and the hand size depends on how many of you there are.
Tap a tapa in your hand to pick it. Every card shows its rule at the bottom, so there is no need to learn the manual. Until everyone has picked you can change it by tapping another.
You get 25 seconds per tapa (35 for the first one of each round, with the whole hand in front of you). If it runs out, the table picks for you at random.
Under each name you see their bar and what it would score now. The bar of the player on your left is marked: they are who you pass your hand to and who your Freeloader steals from.
